To me; this entry represents everything I love about photography. To pull the viewer into a place they've never been and have them reminiscing about a time in their life when they were at just such a place. The dirt road seems almost symbolic of harder times but when looking back down that road the mind can see only the beauty and charm of life's journey.

The lighting could not have been better to create the almost "drops of sunlight" in the trees. Your color choice is just perfect for keeping this timeless. These are all the things I aspire to as a photographer. Congratulations on not only my highest rated picture of the challenge, but one of my all time favorite images on DPC. This is simply a stunning capture in the middle of a daydream.

This is definitely a top contender in the challenge. Excellent composition. Great depth of field. One minor observation is the sharp line where the land meets the sky, I think this small area could be improved some. This is one of my highest rated photographs for this challenge.
