I hate you!!!! A couple of weeks ago I took some photos of frogs which I truly beleived were the best ever to be taken of our amphibian buddies and then I see this and I realise that you just blew my efforts away

Great that you got a 6+ but deserved even more

Lisa, beautiful colours and a photo that is both soft and focused simultaneously. Think it is one of those pictures that either strikes a huge chord with people or doesnt (just look at the average score of your commenters!!!!) and I have to say that for me, as with many of your images it really really works

One of my top three in the challenge love the misty background and how the elongated s curve is accentuated to a shorter one by the growth on the tree. Great job and good luck

I dont know why but I just keep returning to this shot. Love the pastel colours and the great repetitive shape of the jacks. Maybe I would have preffered a fractionally sharper DOF but still a great 8

How life can play cruel tricks on occasion. I love this shot, it not only meets the challenge perfectly but it has been wonderfully executed. It would have got a perfect 10 from me but the speed sign (which unfortunately hits right along a line of third that has been reversed when you flipped the picture is quite distracting to me. I appreciate that you had to do the flip to get the s curve but I reckon that that may be what stops a fantastic shot being a ribbon winner in this challenge

For me personally this is the best shot in the challenge. It combines so many great elements, a fantastic s curve that is at once both subtle and obvious. A great action shot with a crispness of focus to die for and a wonderful wonderful b&w conversion

Stunningly beautiful shot. I love the black and white conversion and the strength and subtlty of the s curve. May have preferred a slightly deeper dof so the ridge in the background was a tad sharper but definitely one of my personal ribbons Bump to 9

Very very impressive and professional. I feel like it should be in a style magazine as an advert for mens after shave (I would buy it). Minor point is that for some reason (possibly just personal taste) I find the shoes a bit of a distraction/anomalous. Without them possibly a 10, but even with them a 9

Very interesting POV and the lens you used has created an interesting effect. For my own personal tastes I would say the vignetting is a little harsh/distracting
