Seriously many congratulations on the ribbon another of your truely great images. The composition is spot on and the duotone conversion is magnificent, giving the baubles a wonderfully fragile look to them without having sacrificed any sharpness or clarity in achieving a soft look about it

Thoroughly deserved ribbon....

Barbara, this was one of my favourite pictures in the challenge (If favoured is the right word for such a poigniant and evocative picture)

I understood completely why you had left the child small and slightly out of focus as it just adds to the feeling of isolation and desolation

A great image and one of your best (imo) which deserved to score and place much higher than it did

Such a clever and subtle image. I am not normally a big fan of explanatory titles but in this case it is totally bnecessary for fear that otherwise the viewer would miss the wonderful nuances of the shot. I'd be facinated to know how you pulled this off 9

What a fantastically surreal comment and photo. I love th little touches like the frame knocked out of kilter on the wall. Possibly could have done with being a little brighter but undiubtedly the work of a brilliant (if possibly slightly deranged) mind. - 8

ooooo I think we may have a ribbon contender here.

Wonderful sense of humour and captures one of the 'concepts' of ebay perfectly.

I guess the only thing I struggle with is the sheet of paper. I appreciate that it adds to the joke but in terms of the image I dont know whether it might have been better to omit it and trust that the voters would have got a more subtle message
