Vivianby Rando D300Comment: Great job in terms of sharpness and colouring and I love the way you have caught all the head plaummage in the frame |

Too Shyby bubeltrubelComment: Brilliant image and black and white conversion which both brings out the strength of the black and white plummage whilst at the same time endowing them with a softness which is visually very appealing. The framing you have used works very well |

Weathering the Stormby boyd2000Comment: Great sharpness and colour on the leading pigeon. Its a shame that the angle of the fence/shot means you could not crop out the third bird as this is somewhat distracting from what is a very good image |

fighting over fishby GaiaComment: Great action shot although I would have liked to see a touch more sharpness of the two birds (though I appreciate that in getting the shot off it would have been hard to fine tune the focus) |

Bald Eagleby SouthCoastOr3gonComment: Great photo but perhaps could have done with the contrast levels adjusting slightly to give the image a little more 'pop' |

Afternoon Swimby birdyblueComment: Lovely composition and some nice pop on the red of the beaks, the whites seem a little blown on my monitor |

Wood Duckby vencapComment: Stunning sharpness and colours, possibly a shame that you dont get to see all of the reflection but nonetheless has a real wow factor |

Soloby diginutComment: Beautiful in its simplicity and great sharpness on the seagull. One minor point that it looks (and please note this is a comment from an amateur) like you may have adjusted the blue/cyan hue/sat in a way that make the sky appear a little grainy and perhaps it could have done with a little noise reduction on this element to smooth it out a touch. Even with this very minor point still gets a 7 from me |

Rainbowby WalesPComment: Simple but really really effective. Very nice range of colours which have been captured without losing any of their integrity and then are made even stronger by the use of the black space between the tip of each crayon
Its really strange I like this because it feels like a 'fill the frame' shot, but it is the small part of the frame that isnt filled that adds the finishing touch
Great job |

Eyes Just For Youby WalesPComment: Well I cant believe this scored like it did. It got a straight up 7 from me and I thought I had maybe been a little harsh
Wonderful sharpness, especially on the bird on the right and strong blacks and whites which work well on their own but also serve to heighten the impact of the incredible colour of the webbed feet and eyes of these birds.
Another of your great wildlife pictures |
