Wow! You really blew away your previous PB. This is one of the shots that I went looking for after the challenge to see how well it did. The focus on those colors is perfect. Great job.

A great subject to work with. I like the low POV and the reflection in the water adds a nice touch. Colors, focus, lighting, and DOF are great. Bump

Beautiful bird, but what makes the shot for me is the lovely tone on the water. I might have cropped just a tad higher, as the partial reflection of the head in the water is a wee bit distracting. Still a 9 from me.

This is totally opposite of what I would normally say in my comments, but I wish you had backed off a bit and get the full reflection of the bird in the shot. As is its a nice shot, but I wonder what it would have looked like with the full reflection.

This is amazing DOF-how did you capture those beautiful strokes in the background? What kind of lens did you use....? Fantastic shot! 10

9 - Beautiful colors and texture in the water, complement this extraordinary bird perfectly. Like your crop.. wonder whether the white of the neck in the reflection removed might have given a fraction more impact, but minor.

An excellent definitive shot of this species. Beautiful rich color and very nice detail. The water forms a wonderful watercolor backdrop to showcase the bird.

You cropped it too close, the reflection should be whole. Nice woodie though

Beautiful duck. I wish the reflection had not been cut off though. Nice DOF. The colors are perfect - not over saturated. Focus is sharp with details brought out nicely.
