The Fishermanby APComment: Great character to this one - the complimenting wedges & V shapes coupled with the silhouette make for a classic composition. |

Desolateby APComment: Wow - great perspective. Often times, this lens can be a liability when amongst trees (IMO, anyway) but it works amazingly well here.
Well, 3 favs in a row makes it official, ha ha... |

The Journey Aheadby APComment: Ha ha - love your comment on this one. It is funny how some places are like that & it CAN be difficult to make progress during a road trip ;~) I love the vanishing point aspect of this as well as the texture of the road.
I camped in Yellowstone when I was 6 years old & STILL remember the beauty of that place. |

Majestyby APComment: Wow - you're making me realize how badly I need to visit this place. I've been all over the country, but Montana is one state I have not had the pleasure of spending time in.
Another fav! |

Avalanche Lakeby APComment: Well done - at first I was going to complain about the magenta in the stones, but I think I really like the range of colors present here. Another great shot! Congrats on the new lens - it certainly is great for compositions like this! |

Sylvan Passby APComment: Nice edit & your eye saw a great picture here - maybe voters were picky with this one meeting the challenge? |

Taurusby SimmsComment: So well done! I love all the techniques you brought into play here - just a hair of sharpening around the face would have edged it one more for me << 9 >> |
