What an interesting image - there's so much going on this picture that it begs to be pondered over. I like the choices in tone & contrast, but question the angle & composition slightly. The centering is slighted which makes me wish you had went either more off-center or symmetrical with this one - especially given the challenge.

Awesome - what a great impression with this one. The texture is so thick & menacing - then the title throws a completely different feeling. Great juxtaposition of emotions here! More detail would have really gone a long way here, so greater DOF would have been helpful. Good luck!

Beautiful first impression. Nice tones with an unusual gradient - it appears a bit soft in focus, though.

Great subject - I've always had a weak spot 'water on spider-web' shots!
