I seem to find the same thing when I take images of open plains like this. I think you will be able to bring out a great deal more pop by adjusting the hue/saturation and fixing the levels in PS.

The major issue I see with this and other images like this is that I don't see a specific focal point. It's a nice landscape, but what is it in the image that is suppose to draw me in?

Although a little underexposed, I love teh composition and lines in this image. A little PP will do wonders with this. I would think a little more light on the model and a little dodge/burn on some of the neat details of this alley (especially the brick wall and the steel wall) would make this shine.

I like the really clean reflection of the sky in the water. The view straight up the clearing towards the trees highlighted make this image. I am just a little concerned with the really dark area on the lower left section of the image - hopefully you can pull out some nice detail in post processin.

Roz- this image is much better than the first. The composition is much better - a better line of the fence, with something interesting behind it. Post-processing (dodging/ burning) on the fence and highlighted areas should really make this one shine.

Roz- this image is crying out for some tonemapping. The lighting on the fencepost is neat, but it really obscures the right side of the post. It seems that could have been more dramatic if you were able to get a little higher so that we can see what is beyond the fence.
