roz - i love the tones on this - capturing the one bubble and the three so focused - i especially like how the second child is blowing along with the 'hog' - what really cracks me up is the third little guy who can't take it anymore and has dropped his head

i like the choice of sharp contrast and grain - it really works well - the placement of the bee/wasp and the fact that the wings are so nicely set makes this a very appealing image - nice work

Day 12 - It's a Guinea Pig

The details in the guinea pig are good - especially around the eyes -but as krnodil said, the location of the shot is very busy and distracts the viewer. the lighting is also a little off at the backend of the little fellow - maybe cropping it just a little tighter on the cute face would help as well.

The thing i like the best about this image is the combination of the wispy branches and clouds - the black versus white that seem to join together and continue across the image. The mountains in the back have just enough detail and the crispness of the foreground adds enough punch to really make you notice it.

I tend to agree with Jonfrommk - you have some really nice other images of white sands that are quite minimalistic to them - this image has a lot going on and may not fit real well with the other two images I have recently seen in your portfolio. But I am not really solid with triptych -so what do I know!!

This is a stunning example of low key. I agree with the critique below that the hair in front of the face is a little distracting. It is such a clean image that anything out of place is very noticible - gave it an 8 during the challenge.
