wash over the rocksby AbraComment: Nicely frozen. I like the effect. It must have been very bright if you got it down to 1/5000 and ISO 100. |

Special Deliveryby vawendyComment: Oh, bloody hell. So if the stores had had any candy hearts, there wouldn't have been a problem. Damn. |

IMG_3863-detail---1565 Bush at Van Nessby sfaliceComment: There's a lot to see here. The old architecture juxtaposed against the new Infiniti sign, the reflections of the buildings across the street....a lot of great detail. I like this shot a lot. |

Come on boss, like to visit my good friend Ben (8/52)by KroburgComment: Lovely. I like how the light shows through his fur. That's hard to get with my dog (Great Dane). On this shot, I would lighten the shady side of him just a bit more. Not a lot, but just a bit. The other thing is that his shady side is a bit more blue than the rest of the shot. If you're using lightroom, this is easy to fix with the shadow tint slider. With other tools, you might have to do some masking to select just the dog, then adjust the color. |

Reflectionsby ciaeagleComment: LOL. I took a couple of bird photography classes from a guy once, who, every time a student presented their work, the guy would turn on something in the app he was using that caused the blown highlights to blink (just like on your camera display). It drove me crazy. Why can't we just look at the picture of the damn bird, without all that blinking crap?
Anyway, this particular picture looks fine. There may be blown sections, but they're small and unimportant. |

MJO_5017by MattOComment: All of the shots are professionally done, excellent shots, of course. But I like this one the best for what it represents. A simple shot, that requires some explanation, but tells us something about love and the meaning of life. |

03453 - Gorgeous Georgeby pixelpigComment: It's a really sweet picture. I find with the dogs, I have to go to at least 5.6 to get the nose and eyes in focus on the same shot. Smaller than 5.6 with the great dane. |

07/52 - peekingby mitalapoComment: I love the dog peeking into the shot from behind. I'm not as bothered by the POV as the others, possibly because I've been working with wide angle a lot recently myself. |
