Well done. Very nice lighting. The only (minor) problem for me is the bright spot on the right.

I love the look on the kids' faces. The boy is intent on what he's doing, and the sister looks a bit grossed out. Very fun image.

Sorry, I gave you a 10, because it seemed too obvious that you were going for the brownie. I think with a less obvious title, I would have given you the 1 you so obviously deserved. Too bad about the DQ. Better luck next time.

Excellent idea, and good execution. This would be totally cool with an old school x-ray film, instead of the computer, but then I suppose you'd need a light source to light the film. Never mind. Leave it as is.

A great idea, definitely appropriate for the challenge. The lighting could be a little less harsh, though. It appears to be taken with an on-camera flash, which looks really unnatural, and the dark tube blends right into the black background. It might work better if the angle were changed so that the tube was entirely in front of the fog, instead of the background.

Ahhh....here's the winner. Kind of like "high school biology meets Charles Dickens." Totally cool.

The lighting is utterly gorgeous. But I'm not sure what I'm looking at.

Good idea! It looks like your camera couldn't focus quite this close, so everything's a little blurry. One thing you can do is back up a little so that everything's in focus, then crop it down to the framing you want afterwards.
