Great color. Whatever it is to the front of the wagon detracts form the shot. I know you were trying to keep the homestead as part of the shot but would a more head on shot have worked. . . lwaving out he stuff in front?

I am guessing that is the only position from which to take the shot and my question: "Why not walking into the scene?" is mute. I still like it. Goes against convention. Good luck.
