Birds are your cream of the crop, Jane. This is a beauty, as are most of them that you submit.
Good capture again. Love the detail that is so evident on the feathers.
And the pops of rust color work beautifully both on the bird and on the branches in the distance.

Perhaps you are fixated on birds because (just like here) they are the only thing out right now.

Usually we have a lot of deer in our yard, but they have been absent of late. Perhaps it is that huge tree that is downed that is blocking my view!

Boy, that beautiful coat of red pops big time in the winter scene. Beautiful.

I agree with jomari it does look very inviting but for an opposite reason than she had ... we are about 20 degrees here with a fresh fall of snow followed by sleet followed by rain and increasing temps.
