A little diffusion on the light would still give it good texture. The bright spots add interest but I think a diffused light would have worked better. Good job getting clarity and dof while being in so close.

It is texture and the technicals aren't bad but it's kind of boring honestly. I don't mean that in a bad way just that it doesn't hold my interest which might be the reason you don't have a higher score. Maybe if there was something to rest the eye on like a flower or the end of a burnt stick or.... well something.

I love how you have the one piling so close in the foreground and right on dof to still leave enough detail in the water and the background which all add to the texture but leave me focused on the piling in the front. Great job.

I really like this as an image. It's pretty dark but it leaves just enough light in just the right places to set the mood. It's a belly with a belly piercing right? Nice job. Not sure it says texture to me but still a nice photo.

This doesn't fit the term abstract imo but that doesn't matter I suppose. Looks like you used a high iso or over-sharpened (based on the noise in the shadows). More likely a high iso as the image doesn't appear sharp to me. It does fit the challenge with texture though. Maybe an off center composition would improve it a bit.
