The beginningby puzzledComment: Reminds me of a lot of Ursula's work. Very cool abstract flow of the egg/ white in the background. Cool light too. I think the black line at the top really helps to frame and balance the shot. Leading off to white wouldn't be as strong. |

Dirty Lifeby inutzaComment: Very documentary/ photojournalistic feel to it. The foggy weather is giving you really even light for portraiture and a great falloff in the detail. The framing is strong too, with the fence and road. |

A spirit of Independenceby e301Comment: Wow. Love this. I don't really get a feel of 'life' from it, but this is a beautiful shot. I could even see it being strong vertically with some more of the columns, or from a slightly higher vantage point to really get more of the reflection that is appearing in the slick (wet) pavement |

The birthby Rino63Comment: Good idea but the lighting is really harsh and all coming from the direction of the camera, which doesn't enhance the scene much. More diffusion would help, as would getting the light off camera if possible. |

New Life For A New Lifeby OmanOtterComment: A really special time to capture - but the background has so much clutter and stuff in it. Filing cabinets, lighters, heaters etc really don't enhance or add to the shot at all. |
