flag on brooklyn bridgeby tomzinhoComment: a lower perspective, down by the yellow line would maybe have given a stronger feel to this - and maybe let you get the bridge higher in the frame to fill 2/3rds of the shot ? |

Ocean´s viewby bcncrazyComment: might be stronger if you'd gotten down closer to the flowers - also with this kind of shot the sligh tilt to the horizon is pretty disconcerting |

Siloby BAMartinComment: the leading line seems to lead away from your subject, given the title |

Lynn Canyon Suspension Bridgeby JakComment: good framing, good leading lines, but I think I would have liked if you'd done a couple of things differently - shot at a different time of day and waited around until there was only the person in the orange jacket there or something similar |

The Tracksby zadoreComment: I'm led - then there is nothing at the end...I feel so cheated. |

Under the Wharfby spidermanComment: feels upside down - have you tried rotating it to see how it looks - great textures, like the orange/ blue colours |

Cloudlife by xertionComment: Lovely - and does a really weird 'shrinking' effect if you scroll up and down in the browser... The splash of blue really sets this off |

Taken by Surpriseby dacrazyrnComment: CC: Great use wide angle techniques getting really close to the animal, to good effect. The extremely over exposed sky is also dramatic, turning the bare trees into skeletal hands, grasping at the corpse. Overall a very dramatic and creepy entry and certainly has many aspects of despair.
Technically it does seem a bit oversharpened, particularly in the way the fur 'stands out' and the sepia sky is a bit distracting with the cloud in the upper left. I think this is great and you should keep trying to follow your own ideas, even if maybe not everyone gets it every time. |
