Be honest...... if you asked 100 people: "What is the subject of this photo? What is the most important part of it?" How often you do think "human hands" or even "a hand" would be the answer? My guess is........1 (one) if you're really, really lucky. I do like the shot, but not so much for THIS challenge.

Meeting the challenge is important to me.
However, I do try to be open minded and try really, really hard to see connections that may not be totally obvious right away.

Sadly, this is not doing it for me. I can't find any connection to the topic. There is zero interesting stuff going on. There is very little attempt at creating anything interesting. I can only find (when I try VERY VERY VERY hard) anything positive at all...... such as yes, the leaves are in good focus.

I have no idea why you entered this. I have even less idea why you entered a pic of sky and leaves in a challenge called "human hands". Maybe you actually have a reason? I look forward to finding out what that reason may be.

I gave you the benefit of the doubt, thinking I might find out from your comments why you entered this in a challenge called "Dirty, filthy, grubby stuff". All I can see is a clean bird with lovely fresh, clean water.

Sadly, I should have gone with my feelings, instead of the "doubt" bit.

Sorry, but I agree with the DQ.

The bucket is odd enough and I kept looking at it, wondering about its significance.
Had you not cloned away the strobe light, I would have spent even more time looking at that part of the image.

You really think you would get the same description/feel/impression from a photo that appears to have a small child magically juggling a cart, vs seeing that it WAS (of course) strung up?

Sorry, but that is too much "pushing" in my books, too.

However, it is a super cute shot for the family album!

I am one of your 9's. I gave you "only" a 9, because I don't like how digital/plastic/artificial the hand looks, but in its entirety, I loved it too much to go any lower.
