Making Tracks - Walking into Another Timeby bside123Comment: He looks a bit like Charlie Chaplin!
Unfortunately, though, that is not a silhouette. Maybe if the rest of the scene wasn't that very over-exposed, he probably would pass as a silhouette ....... |

I do...forever.by jjstudiosphiladelphiaComment: Interesting photo, but where is the silhouette? I see plenty of detail on the couple and on pretty much everything else in the scene. |

New Day, New Year, New Hopeby illini75Comment: In 'real life", that must have been an absolutely breathtaking scene, the colours and sun rays are pretty spiffy!! Pity it is so impossible to capture all of the magic in a photograph.
I'm a bit bothered by the noise (and the big dustbunny blob near the center), and VERY bothered by the crooked horizon, which is such an easy thing to fix, it should never be overlooked.
A further improvement would have been finding some "subject" for the foreground...... some people, a big rock, a large twisted piece of driftwood.... just something other than water and sky. |

The Arc Gloriaby dmaddenComment: I will vote as if I believed the 30-second exposure, but I will admit I'm having a very hard time with that.
There are sharp ripples on the water (instead of just floaty smooth stuff), and NO movement on the boat or the foreground leaves - I simply can't imagine that to be such a long exposure. |

wishful thinkingby PennyStreetComment: I'm intrigued.... am I seeing two men standing behind each other, or one who moved his head during the exposure? |

Thanks for that, Barbara.... I was so torn between coming up with a clever title, or something that might prove useful to explain the situation. |
