The image is "high key," and I agree it borders on being a silhouette. I kinda knew that it was really pushing it when I entered it in the challenge. I too thought the shot was interesting, and the that just maybe I could get away with the entry. For me, the low score from the challenge doesn't take away from the image itself. This is such a wonderful photo, but it's not a silhouette at all. I don't buy into the fact that a silhouette has to be completely black, but there's just way too much detail for it to be a silhouette. Kudos on the shot. I like that you left the word tracks on the sign showing. But it just doesn't fit the challenge.

He looks a bit like Charlie Chaplin!
Unfortunately, though, that is not a silhouette. Maybe if the rest of the scene wasn't that very over-exposed, he probably would pass as a silhouette .......
