This is so very lovely, I am have a hellishly hard time finding "desolation" in this at all....... to me, it just says beauty and peace.

That fountain was my very first thought when I saw the challenge description - pity we don't live in WA anymore.
Love the photo - I don't normally go for that HDR look, but I just adore the way it hides the Space Needle behind the water.

I am giving you a 5 for this, but need to point out that it is NOT because your model isn't a stunning 18 year old.
The 5 is for a so-so photo with harsh shadows from the flash and a number of artistic/compositional issues that I don't care for in this shot.
