I adore your subject. The focus is fine. The colours (even the little glimpses of red) are very interesting. The background is awful, but it might be one of those cases where you had no control over that.

However, I really don't care for the composition - centered, straight, right down onto it..... it could so much better in so many ways. The harsh flash isn't exactly ideal, either.
