Fishing at the Pondby MeggieComment: Yes its candid, and yes, you've caught the mood... Just wish it were more interesting. 5 sjgleah |

Stars & Stripesby JenguinComment: Obviously this is, strictly speaking, a candid shot. And it is nicely done, technically. What keeps me from scoring it highly it is that the image would essentially be the same if the subjects knew that you and the camera were there or not. The subjects are there to be looked at and photographed, so the "candid" nature of it dimnishes in my eyes. An example of "candid" that I'd like better in this context would be an image of kids who are looking at or amazed by these stiltwalkers. Isn't SJ colorful? 4 sjgleah |

Washby mciComment: I like the exposure of the wall... maybe her face is a little too light... (Benefit of the doubt on that!) I like the fact that there are really only two colors present. 7 sjgleah |

girl waitingby grahamgormanComment: Nice catch of the girl... I think the image would look better cropped drastically to exclude alot of the rundown background. 5 sjgleah |

Tense Momentby autoolComment: Doesn't do it for me as a candid image. More like p-journalism. I like it would rate it higher in a different challenge.... guess i need "unaware" people in a candid shot. 3 sjgleah |
