Let's cross the river guysby

Even if the ducks had been swimming, it wouldn't be transportation. This is why we don't see moving flocks, herds, shoals, etc. in this contest. |
Let's see what the dictionary says:
trans·por·ta·tion
The act or an instance of transporting.
The state of being transported.
A means of conveyance.
The business of conveying passengers or goods.
A charge for public conveyance; fare.
Deportation to a penal colony.
As you see, Gerrit, the word "transportation", in English, stands for far more things than you think, but this can be understandable since your mother tongue isn't English.
Hence I believe that it would have suited this theme pictures like: a person carrying a load (the act of transporting); someone who is daydreaming (is "transported"); the river transporting the ducks and of course means of transportation but this is so obvious.
