Oh WOW.

This is amazing. I love how the little pinpricks of light are drowning in black, and there isn't even a hint of texture or midtone in the sea darkness. It makes the little lights seem all the more lost and lonely, giving this a desperately sad atmosphere. (I don't know if any of that makes any sense... :D) but this is a powerful image. Well done.

I suppose this would have worked better in another challenge, but this really is a superb image. The eyes really jump out and grab your attention... which is of course perfect, with the subject being the eyes. Mesmerizing photo.

I love the big black space dominating the top of the photo. Wonderful work! My first thought when I saw this was that both butterflies should have been in color....but that's just personal opinion. This is nicely done and should have scored higher. :)

I looked at some of the previous comments...perhaps the eyes need to be a tad darker. But in any case I think this is so beautiful. I love the sepia and the blue! Their rapturous expressions are perfect and the way the darker hair mingles with the curly lighter hair is lovely!
