Dog Walkby jaysonmcComment: Beautiful... the color harmony is perfect here - for example, the person's green coat matches the grass, and then the umbrella matches the pants, and the sidewalk matches the buildings in the background... it all adds up for a really classic shot! I love it! |

The Smileby SteveJComment: Well, here's my two cents. :)
I like the sepia, but it almost feels a little bit green - I have that problem to, but I've found that desaturating a littl bit usually helps that. And then I might also suggest cropping a little more. He does have a great smile, but the writting on the shirt kind of distracts the viewer away from that a little. Otherwise, it's a great shot! |

Pure Energyby BradComment: A little grainy, and maybe a little out of focus, but a good shot otherwise. The shallow DOF is really good! |

Come Play With Usby TCGuruComment: Interesting post-processing here, but it's a little bit too much for me. I don't really like the off-colors, or the high contrast... but otherwise this is a really cool shot! :) |

Maggie in the Kitchenby treyComment: Wow, this is truely awesome! My only complaint is that the subject almost feels like she's being shoved off to the corner of the shot... Maybe if she were positioned a little closer to the center, and facing a different dirrection... but I'm just being picky. This is one amazing portrait! Good luck on the challenge! |

Hands of the Familyby CitadelComment: A really cool idea for a shot - and pretty good! However, I would suggest putting a little bit more composition into the photo... and maybe trying to get some more details. For example, even though the baby's hand has some good detail, the hand in the back is sort of missing out, making me want to see more of it as well. A sweet photo though! :) |
