Lone Starby L1Comment: This looks out of focus to me. I like the colors and the comp is good but could use some work. This will get a 5 from me. |

Venus Bayby John WhiteComment: Wow, this could have worked for the Sun challenge huh? I like the image, but the horizon is too centered. I would have liked to have seen some of the foreground cropped out. Following that either bring more detail to the boat, or less detail for the full silhouette effect. This will get a 5 from me. |

Promby riversongComment: The crop on this feels very tight, and the blocked face in the back is a drawback. I will have to give this a 5. |

Harris Hawkby dippydazComment: I don't particularly care for the selective desat, and in this case I think it highlights the los of detail in the tips of the tailfeathers. The claw of the hawk being cut-off doesn't help matters either. Overall I will have to give this a 5. |

Belleby EstimatedEyesComment: I have to say that I think this is a shame. First you have a very nice Macro shot here. The background is perfect in my opinion because even though it is beautifully out of focus, it still has the resemblence of being form a cartoon. Brilliant. This should have scored much better than it did.
What is even more of a shame is the fact that this entire community of voters had such low admiration for your photo and didn't comment once to tell you what you could have done better. Seeing things like this really dissapoints me. Everyone props the community of DPC here to be so special and then they do something like this.
I am sorry that I didn't have time to vote on this challenge so that I could leave you a comment. It is downright pititful that of the 143 voters, including the 24 that voted less than a 4, that nobody had the decency to leave you a comment.
Pitiful!
Don't let that take anything away from what I feel is a great photograph. This would make a great print to hang on your daughter's wall and somethig for her to keep as she gets older as a memento of her youth. |

GreenHouse2.jpgby KelliComment: This is really an interesting photo. I feel like each pane of the window tells a different story. Excellent capture. |

Out In The Countryby sherComment: I am always amazed when I see photos like this. Most people see scenes like this on an almost daily basis and never see the photographic quality of it. You have not only seen this quality, but have captured it in a spledid way. This is without a doubt a brilliant photo. |

Unit 6 coming to the rescue!by JaimeVinasComment: I for the life of me can't figure out why this didn't score higher. I think it is an awesome take on the challenge for one and for two, it is a great capture. The vehicle speeding by on the right really sets this image apart from just being a shot of a firetruck. Brilliant photo in my opinion. |
