Freedomby Rino63Comment: Not seeing the joke in this one, I have a feeling it's there but I just can't pick it out. |

What We Say to Cats...and What They Hearby freakin_hilariousComment: I think it might have been even better to change the joke up a bit since it's a cat rather than a dog. Something like What they hear: "Dear Lea! You are the most wonderful creature that ever existed, please allow me to be your humble slave, Lea?"
Still well done |

It's a hard life...by SiggavComment: To answer everyone. The cat in the photo is my Bengal cat Nikita.
Bengal cats are a fairly new cat breed. They were created by hybridising together a wild spotted cat called the Asian Leopard Cat and normal domestic cats. Her pattern is only this dramatic on the belly (the wild cat has a white belly, most bengal cats don't but their underside is much paler and clearer than their bodies.
Her back and sides are a nutty brown colour with black spots, some of them multy toned. I love photographing her and I'm trying to get beyond the typical "cat snapshot" although I confess this photo could have been set up better.
For those of you who are thinking about getting bengals. Do some research first but overall they are very energetic, fun, active and clever cats but they can be quite a handful so if you want a low maintenance cat Benals aren't the right breed.
Thank you everyone for your comments and votes. This was my first challenge entry and I was hoping I wouldn't tank completely |

Turkey Trot (Country Living)by rayg544Comment: The focus is off in this photo and the background is very busy. It would have been better with a narrower DOF (to declutter the background) and crisp sharp focus on the birds to make them stand out. |
