Sweet Melissaby militarygirl10Comment: It's rather too soft focused and glowy for my tastes. I always find it rather disturbing when perfectly sharp eyes stare out at me from a blurry photo.
I know it's a matter of taste though. |

Extra: Playfulby SiggavComment: Originally posted by tjbel05: She is beautiful. What a playful little kitty she is. What breed of kitty is she? |
She's a Bengal cat. A cat breed created by hybridising together normal domestic cat and a wild cat called the Asian Leopard Cat. Nikita is several generations removed from an ALC but both her spots and how fiesty she is (and sensitive stomach) shows off her wild roots.
Not that all cats aren't wild, I often think they're the least domesticated of our "standard" pets and that's just the way I like them :) |

Day 10by timfythetooComment: I like this one a lot, the texture of the bench is great and usually I don't like selective desaturation but it really works in this photo.
Beautiful fluffy cat as well :) |

Day 20: Cuddleby SiggavComment: dassilem - she has two modes. ON and OFF, the OFF mode being engaged most of the time when I´m away at work so it's usually just on weekends (and late evenings) that I get to enjoy some quiet time with her.
She actually doesn't go into my lap very often. However she'll let me pick her up from where she's sleeping and put her in my lap (needy humans, pfft!) and just continue snoozing away there.
She's even started to half expect that, and often starts purring when I pick her up to move her. I've not been around a cat before where you can get away with doing that. It doesn't work every time but a lot of the time it does. |
