 Best way to watch TV, ever.

Taken with my small canon snapshot camera (it's pretty much impossible to handle a dslr camera with one hand while being careful not to disturb the cat).

Ahhh...how sweet. My cat, Sammy, won't even fit in my lap!!! But, he loves to rest his head in the lap of my daughter, Lily, who pets him with the cat comb. Obviously, you have a very close bond with your kitty!

well, the small PowerShots do an incredible job--no , we must not disturb the kitty ! What kind of kitty is this...miniture leopard ?

I love how you've captured so many sides of her personality through this challenge. She's a wonderfully photogenic kitty! I can't wait for the rest! :)

dassilem - she has two modes. ON and OFF, the OFF mode being engaged most of the time when I´m away at work so it's usually just on weekends (and late evenings) that I get to enjoy some quiet time with her.

She actually doesn't go into my lap very often. However she'll let me pick her up from where she's sleeping and put her in my lap (needy humans, pfft!) and just continue snoozing away there.

She's even started to half expect that, and often starts purring when I pick her up to move her. I've not been around a cat before where you can get away with doing that. It doesn't work every time but a lot of the time it does.

yes it is the best way to watch TV. It's a joy to have a 'animal' have such trust in you that they can put ALL guards down....and doubly joyful when their favorite spot is to do that on your lap!!

BUT, am I to believe that Nikita actually takes some DOWN TIME????

I must say this is one of the prettiest cats ever. That coat is just stunning both in color and pattern.

Oh! From the thumbnail, I thought it was Nikita in mid-leap, pouncing on something, so I didn't know what the "Cuddle" title was about in the forum thread. Yes, definitely not mid-leap. ;>þ
