Dying Treeby TCGuruComment: Awww I'm sorry to hear about the tree.
As for the picture I think even that a shallower dof would be interesting to isolate out more a part of the texture rather than having it be a bit overwhelming as it is. I.e the eye is sort of pulled all over the place. It depends as well on how close your lens can focus. |

Lanceby Art RoflmaoComment: Shiny white fangs :) I like the shallow dof and the focus on the nose and whiskers. I often forget that dogs have whiskers too. |

Day 7by ShutterPugComment: I really like the bokeh and the softness and also how it's such a humble common little grass. I mean it's a composition and scene that a lot of people would simply ignore but it looks gorgeous in your photo. |

Day 8 - bonus: Le Sighby SiggavComment: datcat - yep sort of. She knows to stand on two legs like that, go to any place when I tap it twice and as an extention on that trick, to jump between two places as well.
It's easy to train a lot of cats if you go about it the right way. Basically you need to use clicker trainig type of thing where there is only positive reinforcement, no negative reinforcement at all for doing the wrong trick or doing the trick wrong.
Also just praise isn't good enough as motivation, food works best really so if you have atleast a somewhat food motivated cat things will probably go well.
Nikita is a cat with a very big personality and just bursting with energy so I started the trick teaching just to try to help burn off some of her excess energy but it's been useful for photography as well (although she doesn't do stay so I can't get her to sit still in a spot after she's gone to it) |

Forget me Notby FrostyPawsComment: These are very pretty. The border feels rather heavy handed but the flowers and the bokeh and the colours are nice. |

Butterfly Lamentationby TCGuruComment: That's quite sad. I'm not 100% sold on the selective desaturation (or I'm assuming that's in the photo, if not you have a *very* grey drive way.
I think it's because the butterfly isn't brightly coloured enough to be clearly seperated from the grey.
Still a very nice capture. |

Day 2: Wall Jumperby SiggavComment: ShutterPug - Hehe you're right they're quite similar looking in the photos and yes it's too funny when they leap half way up the walls like that :) |
