The wide angle, the blurring around the edges, the writing on the zebra line, everything seems to work together to create an intriguing image. You're clearly managing to work with the lens and 'see' with it.

Thanks for explaining what the letters say as well, that's pretty clever as a stop smoking reminder.

It feels rather busy in an "my eye is pulled all over the place" sort of way, however the woman and her expression, pose and outfit and her colours really lift the photo for me and then adding in the contrast with the other people in the photo it builds up into a slice of life sort of image that has a lot more impact than it would if it were purely being judged on composition and 'dry' technicals like that.

So yeah, I actually quite like it. It could probably be better with a slightly more out of focus background or a bit less cluttered or sinking into the people, however the people are just about perfect and I love how they're arranged in the photo.

YMMV of course

Oh and I like the colour treatment, gives it a bit of an old film photo feel.

This one really does look like an ad. The bokeh is beautiful in the background and the man is perfectly sharp in contrast, oozing personality.

I really like this one, it's interesting how oblivious the people are to one another and there is also a lot of contrast between the two women and the construction worker. The depth of field works well to direct the attention and make the photo not too busy.

I love this one. The colour palette, the man, the complicated mechanical wires and train track and even the time on the clock pushing forward rush hour and getting home from work, a commute, routines. Really good shot.

That's a hilarious and interesting photo. I can't imagine having a cat balanced on my head like that. The composition/cropping is a little off for me but the subject is interesting and unique enough to make that not really important.

Ooo I like this one, the angles and lines are all slightly askew and it pulls me into the photo. In particular it's the sharp contrast with the bright background and then the crisp black shoe that's got the heel off the ground that really makes me look. The light there is beautiful.

I also like how they're walking out of the photo, all the vertical lines and repetition in the building help shape the mood of the photo.

I really like this one. Good editing too getting the bw looking right and deep enough without loosing important detail

Did you submit this one to the wrong challenge? The photo seems more friends than enemies. I like the candid though.

I love this one, it's a beautiful photo and the bw treatment works really well with it and the blurry wings are just gorgeous and the lines and the shapes just work.

Eeek I'd be worried about that, especially with my cat. Ooof..

Gorgeous parrot there though, makes me wish I could have one as a pet but with my current cat.. not an option.
