George Washington reflecting (look close)by jimsappComment: Thanks to all who commented on this photo. I probably made a mistake thinking "reflecting" instead of "reflection". The photo is of a rock formation that looks like George Washington looking up to the sky. Think of Mt. Rushmore turned sideways. Hopefully more of you will see him now. I think George had a lot to reflect on, don't you? |

Late Summer in the Rockiesby jimsappComment: Thanks to all who liked this photo. Taking it involved a hike of 6 miles in 4 inches of new snow, the elevation was 10,500'. The snow capped mountains in the background are over 20 miles away. The valley is where the town of South Fork CO. is located. |
