Pears are a great subject to turn to when doing still life. I'd like to see softer lighting though to really bring out the shape. Another thing that might make this stand out more is if you could lighten the background more, or somehow make the pears stand out more from their surroundings. (comment only)

You have some nice elements in this composition, but I'd like to see them arranged differently. I would take the tall orchids out of the chest and set them next to it in a way that frames it. Maybe you could also take a few of the bits out of the glass container and add them in other places to better connect with the rest of the composition. Keep at it, this isn't bad! (comment only)
