Balls of Fireby labudsComment: Someone other than me is submitting fire-spinning shots to DPC? :) Damn you, competition!
Very nicely done - the background is cool, the posture and facial expression are great. You got some nice detail in the flames too. Slightly distracting white bits in the top right, but nothing you can really fix in basic editing. I look forward to finding out who this is by :) |

Yeeehaaaw!!by Gaby_GComment: Heh, I've got a real fire whip that I use for performances, so I can't help but laugh :)
(it looks like this)
Cool picture, very nicely done. The pose and facial expression are good. Objections: The highlights of the flames are a bit burnt out in places. You can prevent that by either moving the fire very quickly, or using a tiny aperture (and having a very strong light pointed at the subject at the beginning). Also, I think it's a shame that you're not holding some sort of handle that the fire could seem to be attached to (at the moment it's just hovering in mid-air, so the illusion isn't complete), and it would have worked better if you hadn't cut off the top of the flame. Still a very good shot though - I know how difficult fire-painting is! |

Primary Paganby xianartComment: Just to let you know - I gave this a 9, and meant to come back to leave a comment, but never got around to it.
Beautiful image, wonderful artistic representation of paganism - I love it! :) |

Fire from the Skyby WriteHeartComment: Very pretty, and works well in B&W. I love thunderbolts, and there are interesting patterns in the sky too... |

Primordial Soupby skewsmeComment: I swear there's a certain trademark to your shots - there's always something distinct about the colours... Interesting, subtle shot, I like it. |

Fire & Waterby KelliComment: Wow, that's stunning! A purple sky with a thunderbolt - what more do these voters want?!
However, I'm really surprised you didn't clone out the power lines. It's allowed under Advanced rules, and it would have radically improved the shot. |

Earth's bountyby MelethiaComment: Lovely bright colours, and the light and shadows work really well in the shot. I wouldn't say NCW, I'd be pretty happy if this was my shot :) |

Waves in the fogby griz210Comment: Not really a DPC-friendly shot, but I like it. There's something kind of mysterious about all those outlines in the fog... |
