Looks like a variety of Gaillardia (Blanketflower). This would be a good shot in a plant identification book, since it shows both the bloom and the seedhead.

Good composition. So-so lighting. It's not a bad photo at all. It's just that so many of your images are knockouts, this one seems average by comparison.

Sisters (pink Roses)

Can't decide what I think about this one. It's in between. Either needs to be sharper, or needs to be blurrier. The composition of the two roses together is quite nice, as is the sentiment expressed in your comments.

Sunshine and Shadow

Beautiful. I really like the side-by-side positioning of the lit blossom and the shadowed one. You managed to keep sufficient detail in the shadowed flower, and the lit one is only a little too bright. You still got the good vein detail in the bright blossom though. A really hard lighting situation to expose well, and you succeeded.
