My eye is first drawn to the ring on the hand, and then to the watch on the wrist. Both are comparatively light, shiny-looking objects, so they are distracting me from the headset. Then the pencil and coffee cup catch my eye. In other words, I kept wanting to explore all the background elements in the photo rather than the foreground element. Too many things going on. The headset, however, is well exposed and I like the DOF on it.
