There is good detail and the focus is very good. The biggest problem I see here is the shadowing and the redtones to the right side of the photo. The take away from what had the potiental to be an exceptional photo.

It does meet the challenge but I would have liked to have seen a little closer crop.

Very nice image. The lighting here is almost perfect, a very slight adjustment in the lighting would have made this shot. Your focus is fantastic. The composition is good

As for meeting the challenge, yes slinky is a trend but slinky dog is even more of a trend =o) All kids go through a slinky trend.

Very nice idea just the light is just to low for the photo and with the slower shutter speed you had a lot of blurring of the one hand.

As for meeting the challenge it is a bit weak but it does meet it with a little thought.

I'm not sure I would say flowers are a photographic trend more of a seasonal photographic possibility.

The photo itself though is very good, the focus is good, the colors are good and overall it is a very eye pleasing photo. I think what it lacked here is it needed to work into the challenge "Trends" better.

Very nice take on the challenge, I like the several different contrasts of ideas going here. Your focus seems good, the dof works here you might have been hurt though by the shadow created by your diagonally placed oreo, makes the oreos in the stack slightly shadowed.

Only thing you are missing here is the contrast of big and small...in cause you have no little kids around yes oreos now come in mini sizes too. =o)

Overall this is a really nice image. Nicely done.

I find this to be very interesting I like the contrast of the tones and patterns. I think it has a wonderful feeling and texture to it. Your dof works well and the focus seems perfect.

I really wouldn't change a thing. Congrats on the second place win.
