Very nice image. The lighting here is almost perfect, a very slight adjustment in the lighting would have made this shot. Your focus is fantastic. The composition is good
As for meeting the challenge, yes slinky is a trend but slinky dog is even more of a trend =o) All kids go through a slinky trend.

| I can't tell if this is a moving coil or not, but I note blur, a depth of field too thin, sad, because this monocrome composition is wonderful. What is the trend? |

| I like the lighting and the way the slinky is framed. However, it seems to me that the focus should be on the brighter areas on the right rather than the upper left. |
