Stationary Waterby sgraceyComment: The water trail behind the canoe truly does convey the stillness of the water. I gave this image a 9 and I wouldn't be surprised to see it in the top 10 or even ribbon. However this image may have been even better if you would have left out the tree in the foreground, as it breaks up the continuity of the still water and the sky just a touch. |

Not moved in Decadesby sarsonukComment: I really like the composition of this image. The image could use a little bit of sharpening. You might want to consider reshooting this at a different time of day. The light appears to be directly overhead and is washing out some of the great texture available at the end of the log. |

Seasons Passby David1411Comment: A very nice image and very suitable for this challenge. A couple of suggestions you might want to consider. First, crop a little off the right side just past the barn window. As presented, the highlights off the barn roof compete against the tractor for my attention. Second, play around with contrast, saturation, and levels a bit to see if you can provied more depth to the tractor. It looks a little flat in this lighting. |

Quitting Timeby tmhallingComment: The tools look a little new to be working tools. PLus a skilled trademan would never leave his tools behind. Nice image in spite of my nit-picking. |

Still Yellowby SACComment: I like the lighting and background on this image and the detail in the withered rose pedals is exceptional. This image is interesting to the point that I wish I could look at it from several different angles. You have the misfortune that this particular challenge has several entries that with pop. The subtleties of this entry will probably get lost among them. Bump to a 7. |

Stop the Music and FREEZE!!by -Bec-Comment: I gave this image a seven and I know you are going to wonder why it wasn't a ribbon winner. So I feel compelled to comment. First, this image is technically perfect, the lighting, the focus, the placement of the subject. However, the use of seamless paper in the background works against this image. It takes away from the spontaneity that you are trying to convey by making the picture looked posed. I have no doubt that you had the subject move around and freeze when the music stopped but it just doesn't come across with this background. A neutral colored background may have worked better. |

ROFL Beetleby peterishComment: Very funny image, which gave me my chuckle for the day. Too bad the back leg is missing on the back side. Great entry and very creative. |

W.C. Cityby TotemComment: Wow, this image looks like something is moving but everything is stationary. Great job. 8 |

Unmoved Vasesby abiong0109Comment: I bet this looks very close to what you were intending. The high key effect works well here. 8 |

Waitingby sephick911Comment: Everything about this image says she should be moving, the people around her, the walk sign. However, her eyes make it look like she is distracted by something and forgot to move when the sign changed from Don't Walk to Walk. Still, she is definitly stationary and the B&W conversion is well done. 8 |
