Surf Tree at Sunset (Scraggly Spires)by chimericvisionsComment: This image is well done and I gave it a 6. I took your word that it was near a place with surf, as it is hard to connect this image as being near water, let alone a beach scene. Your overall score probably suffered because of that. |

Crustaceous Remainsby ShutterPugComment: I like this image a lot; however, I gave it a 5. The water is almost 50% of the image and mostly out of focus. As negative space, it really doesn't help the image. If might want to try a square crop or even a horizontal crop to minimize the water as much as possible without removing the beach/water connection. |

Beach Fishingby Tap10Comment: I didn't even see the fishing pole until I came back to comment. If you had proped it up so it was shiloetted against the sky, it would have been more noticeable and would have helped the pier in the foreground to fit into the image a little better. |

Four deer sunbathing on the river's beach.by cathysappComment: Talk about being in the right place at the right time. This image might not be as "pretty" as some of the sunset images but the degree of difficulty for capturing this shot deserves a 7 in my book. |
