Morning Reflectionsby keoneComment: Back to comment: This image appears to not be sharply in focus. You need to sharpen more after down sizing for the challenge. Most people use Unsharp Mask to bring back the sharpness lost because of down sizing. I also think this image would have been better if you would have taken it when the sun was lower. This would have allowed more detail in the bridge to show and made the sky less harsh to look at. |

Waterloggedby SamiBenfieldComment: Back to comment: This image is smaller than what is allowed for a challenge. The longest side of your image should be 640 pixels. When your image is this small, it is hard to see the details and judge the quality of the image. Because of that, many people will give a low vote and move on without really looking. |

Makaleha Fallsby psartComment: Back to comment: You have what looks like a nice landscape image. However, it needs to be in PORTRAIT orientation to meet the challenge. |

Hawaiian Sunset From Waterby QuincyComment: Back to comment: The post processing of this looks very harsh. It appears to have too much contrast and might be over saturated. However, some of this may be related to the file size of your image, as DPC allows a file size of 150 Kb and you only used 70 Kb. The less you compress your image (the larger file size), the better the detail visible in the image. I also find the out of focus waves towards the front of the image to be distracting (unappealing). This could be related to not using a small aperture (large number) or from not sharpening enough after down sizing your image. |

Untitledby jallasComment: Back to comment: This image suffers from a lack of a main subject for the viewer to focus on. There is really nothing here to look at beside the tree branches and the wire. The sky has some color to it but nothing else to hold the viewer's attention. |
