Cold Weather Eagle by zimmanjComment: Excellent image. I like the backlighting of the head and the breath. I recently got a promo from NG and it had a section on bald eagles. This shot could have easily been one of them. 10. |

Recovered Marshesby zeuszenComment: Leaves one with the feeling of falling over. It would have had more interest as a straight up-and-down picture - probably as a vertical crop. |

Home on the Rangeby ShannonComment: You'll probably get this comment from several people but I'll say it anyway. I think this would have looked even better if the bison was facing into the picture space. Still, an impressive photo and I could, indeed, see this as appearing in NG. |

Bisonby channeledComment: This might have been better if the hump and the rump weren't cropped off. To me that leaves an uneven balance in the composition. I'm sure it's not easy to be so near such a massive (and possibly dangerous) animal but see if, next time, you can keep the horizon level. |

I Will Try To Make Wise Choices by GolferDDSComment: We've always taken the owl as a symbol of "wiseness" and you've used it nicely to illustrate your NYR. Nice and sharp where it should be and DOF was used "wisely" here. |

Young at Heartby ckrolstonComment: A very pretty young lady and she illustrates your title nicely. The exposure is super and the backlighting gives nice highlights in the hair and on the jeans. May we all remain "Young at Heart"! |

Enjoy the Beauty of Natureby AntithesisComment: What an unusual flower. Although I can see detail in the highlighted area, I suspect that some people won't see it without a properly calibrated monitor. I especially like the black background and that the light gives modeling to the subject. |

Convert these slides to digitalby cbellerComment: Nice composition. I like the B&W with this. If it had been color, I suspect that the viewer would be drawn to the light box rather than taking in the entire picture. It has much more impact this way. The table is a little dark. You can't see the brush against the table. Good luck in scanning! |
