Proudly, I'm Ampersand.by LydiaComment: Fun and odd! I love your photographer notes, especially: "Make note of this. One never knows when one needs to balance a four on the back of your pew. Just sayin'."
That's why I read those notes after voting ends. ;) |

no more questionsby streetpigeonComment: As an abstract, the shapes and colors are interesting. However, I can't seem to let go of knowing those are windows and a tall ladder, and wanting to see more of them vertically. |

Golden Orb Spiderby MEJazzComment: Good choice from a composition standpoint. However, as I do with most macros, I want to see lots of detail, and this small size makes that difficult. It's hard to tell from this shot, but is it sharp enough to support cropping in almost entirely to the spider's body? |

Olympiaparkby bjoernComment: You chose a good scene to fill the wide photo shape. I think it caught my attention a little less, though, because it's hard to see much detail in the stuff on the ground. |

s curveby tomeComment: A bold move to cut off the bird's head. I like it as an abstract, but that choice about the head is distracting me. Do *you* like it? |

Early Evening in the Coveby PenelopeKComment: A pretty scene that fills the frame well. At this small size, though, I find myself wanting to see more detail in the shapes of the boats. I think I'd like it better with some color difference between the various features of the photo. Still, a 7. |

European Starlingby MonaComment: Like an Edgar Allen Poe poem. At first I thought it was an E on a door, leaving me wondering what else is in the label. Then I noticed the shadowy shape of the bird. Very intriguing, and you composed it well with the subject at the bottom of the frame. |

Grassby namComment: Nice long subject to fill that narrow photo! You captured the shapes and texture well, too. |
