March Macro - Day 6 - Daffodilby valknerComment: Thanks Steve. The Sigma is an incredible lens. I love my 50 and my 105. The 105 is definitely great for larger things, like flowers, since it makes it easier to get more in focus. |

Day 08 - Inside a tulipby hajekaComment: Stunning photo, the soft reflection on the pistil and the beautiful backlighting are great! I would like to see the same shot with the pistil/stamen a little more in the topleft of the frame to see a little more of the backlit petals. |

For boyd2000, the background is lit with a snooted SB-600
The flower is backlit with another snooted SB-600 and an frontlit with an SB-800 in a softbox
I think there was also a piece of white paper as a reflector under the flower |
