Perfect focus, Perfect placement, Excellent detail. This really looks like a brain! I would be jumping about the image except that it is on that darn static black background that leaves it stark/void of any impact and the image suddenly goes from a potential super impacting 9-10 to a ho-hum 5.
As a macro however. I love it. |

| Looks like a brain to me, with the lower branch being the rachidian bulb root. Really interesting texture. |

| The black and white work very well here and seems to have polarized the commenting, at least in my mind. Kind of like having to state both sides of the reactions caused by the photo. Like the shot, don't really care one way or the other about cauliflower. |

| I love how there's a little section missing, letting you peek inside. And I agree that the black background offsets this nicely. |

| i am not a fan of the vegetable either, BUT i like the sharpness in this shot, also the white against the black really makes the detail pop. |
