Red is my favorite color. Ilove this photo. Great composition and shallow DOF. Lighting is very good it has this glow. It is neat how your eyes start from the top left and wind down into the hole of the ribbon. Hope this does well. I love the fact that it is not a flower, pretty girl or a lot of skin.

This technically is a very good photo. I love the touch of using dried out roses and the fact that you let the model be natural except for the red lips and red finger nail polish. The composition and lighting is very good. I hope this does well. You should be very proud of your photo. You didn't use the typical pretty girl and you didn't use the typical flower.

Great concept. I love the warm tones. The oranges seem a bit blown out and they look like the need to be sharper. Maybe try running USM on them. There are a few specks on the flat surface that are a bit distracting. I get dinged for this everytime. Try not centering the subject so much and play around with arranging your oranges in different areas.

I love these birds. Very good shot of the bird but I think the tree distracts from the bird because they are so close in color. It would have been nicer if you had more sky behind the bird.

Watching Over the Oaks

WOW. Nice crisp photo. This may be too dark for some but I seem to love the darker images. Seems very peaceful. The first thing I noticed was the face in tree to the right top looking back at Jesus on the cross. I then looked closer and noticed other faces. To the bottom left it looks like the trunk has big eyes and its mouth is open. Seems to be speaking to the back of cross. The trunk to the farthest bottom left seems to have its eyes closed but mouth open. This seems to add a lot of character. I hope more voters will take time to really look at your photo to see all the wonderful characteristics. I really love the warm green and brown colors.

Very nice crisp photo. Composition and lighting is very good. I love the rust red and light grey colors. The colors make for a very pleasing photo to look at. Well Oiled Machine! Great capture.

Another thing that I forgot to mention about the composition. Very clean lines and I love how the rust red metal frames the gray. That makes it very eye catching.

This meets the challenge by far. This is not a typical shot if you know what I mean. It is different from everything else that is in the challenge. It is neat how you have all the birds flying up in the sky. Lighting seems good. It would have been nicer if the sky had a bit more color but then it could be my monitor. The graffiti is sending out the message of love for all to see. Oh yeah, nice composition, especially the way the grass is pointing to the words "More Love". Great job.
