The Girlby prashant_168Comment: Under appreciated yes, but I am sure the child's parents love the shot. Personally I love the DOF of the shot and think it is very well done but unless it is your child voters tend to not be as excited about it as you would if you know the child. It is a shame the quality of an image does not mean as much as the first impression an image gives off in the 5 seconds a viewer will typically give the image. |

Homage to Charles C. Ebbetsby Alex_PetriniComment: I guess I'm a lot smarter than the SC and I was not fooled into thinking you went to the top of a sky scraper to set up Legos. Not a big fan of the artwork rule and how it gets applied some times and this is one of those times. Still this a very well done image and the voters got it right! |

JUNE at the golf courseby jimsappComment: Nice idea but to me the camera placement just seems odd, shooting across the fairway seem to lose the effect you were going for, to me you lost the sense of a fairway in the foreground and ended up with just a grassy area. If possible the shot that may have worked better was finding a fairway in line with the mountains and shoot from the tee box using the lines of the fairway to lead into the mountains. Hope the critique helps, good luck in the challenge |
