Very nice. I love the tonal qualities of the background, and minimal color in the subjects of this photo. There was another photo like this that the smoke, to me, was to prominent and busy, yours is MUCH better in that regard. I think I'd like this one better if there were less sticks of incense (less busy), but it is definatley pretty. Great job from the 'Great Job Baggie'!

Yes, I feel the sense of zen in this one. The bird seems to be one with the environment around him, and he seems to be in tune with his surroundings. The little bit of movement in the water just may be his dinner. Very minimal subject matter, I LOVE how he's beautifully perched on the rock. Great job from the 'Great Job Baggie'!

A very nice shot. Besides being a great portrait, the softness of the colors and lighting makes this work for me. The background is NOT distracting, which is a plus for me in this challenge. The subject is interesting, but has a sense of softness about her as well, which works in harmony with the total shot. She seems at peace, and that peace is carried over to the whole photo, and then to me, the viewer. Great job from the 'Great Job Baggie'!

Gorgeous display of zen. I love the background color, it sets the single, minimal subject apart quite beautifully. There were a couple of other shots like this in the challenge, but the smoke that they showed, in my opinion, put motion into the shot when it was meant to create an air of stillness, breaking their zen. But this one does not get interrupted by any other details. Quite beautiful, quite zenny. Great job!

This is a gorgeous shot, great use of minimal color and tone. It blends, it works in harmony, one ridge to the next. One of my favorites so far in this challenge.
