I did a quick glance through your outtakes, and I agree that this is by far the best shot. It's an excellent example of breaking the centered subject rule and getting away with it. The composition is solid and interesting. Both man and pup seem to be having a great time. It's a great photo for this challenge, because their youthful, healthy energy shines through. I love shots that are taken from behind or silhouetted, because it allows the viewer to transport themselves into the scene. Sometimes when a human's face is included in a photo, it draws attention to itself and distracts from the real purpose. Great job.

The man in the background really takes this to a new level. Young vs old. Even younger folk from the same culture are amused by the practices of just a couple generations back.

I really like this image, and for that reason I can see some things I might have done differently.

I think the burning of the clouds is a touch overdone.

The reds might have been pushed a weeeee bit too much, but I appreciate where you went with it.

I would have cropped off the grassy bit at the bottom. It's just a philosophy of mine, I guess. If you crop that out, the viewer doesn't feel like they're standing on a ledge. That means the sea ends. When the viewer doesn't know where it ends, they're left wondering, "Where does it end?" Does that make sense?

The horses seem to be looking at you. Were you taunting them with a carrot? :P

Her flexibility is just unreal, and your lighting is spot on as usual.

Fantastic image. I love the light and shadows. I like the processing for the most part, but what the hell happened to the upper left corner?

I overheard the guide say he wanted them to jump when he was going to take their photo. He was very loud !

Ohhhh! I didn't even notice the camera in his hands. That makes a lot more sense. I thought someone was coming out the gate that they were all so very excited to see. Made me wonder if it was the local jailhouse or something, heh.
