The composition and subject is certainly something you'd expect to see on a magazine, with plenty of room for the title as well. As for the image itself, I find it soft, probably as a result of being handheld.

It's a good shot with nice details on the petals and stamen. Could have done with a little more contrast as a black and white image. Like I said, it's a good shot, but I think for a flower to be able to carry off black and white, especially for a magazine cover, it needs to be absolutely stunning. Black and white flowers tend to be classy and/or moody, and I would expect a lot more vibrant color from a magazine cover. As a side note, I'm not voting you down for it at all, it's merely an observation.

Great toning, looks very bronze! The repetetive pattern is good, but the few windows that are open break up the pattern nicely. It has a very metal look, doesnt even look like windows. Nicely captured!

Great toning. Wonderful natural framing of the structure in the background, but also great use of layers with the columns/poles, fence, and then structure. Lots of parallel lines going on here! Nicely seen and captured.

Good toning, goes with the mood. A tad soft but I'm wondering if that's part of the mood too. Nice textures in the walkway, and the water certainly looks cold and choppy. Nicely captured.

Wow, that's vivid! Interesting illusion with the stripes, the purple 'creatures(?)' seem a little blurry, but maybe that's my eyes reaction to such strong colors. Certainly the most original I've seen so far.
